Our Cat In TX

Post by schrowang on Mon Apr 07, 2008 1:52 am

We camped at the West 40 RV Park in Shamrock, TX on our way to the Grand Canyon last summer. The park was right on old U.S. 66. This part of the Texas panhandle is as flat as a griddle and in June it was just as hot.

Have stayed there a few times. We enjoy the park, it is quiet and the owners were friendly. Great for a one nighter when passing through, as we do when heading for the Tulsa area. Looks like he could have given you a spot with a shade tree Question
