Oh! I think I know that one -
“You put your left toe down, you put your right arm out, you put your right arm up, and you pivot all about. You get a little jerky, and you do a little work, that’s what you call the drive shaft Zerk.”
Just feeling a little crazy on a Saturday night.

Re: Scottz, Tell me how you did the drive shaft Zerk
Greetings from Teton Pass (near Grand Teton/Yellowstone).
I did not put it in, but I watched. Here is how I would do it.
1. Buy a zerk fitting and figure out what size the threads are. I suspect they are 1/4"-20, but I would have to look.
2. Get the proper tap for the zerk fitting.
3. The tap you use will determine what size hole to drill (info should be stamped on the tap). Note: you do not use a 1/4" drill for a 1/4" tap; it will be something smaller.
4. Drill a hole in the yoke, cut threads using the tap, install the zerk fitting.
If you need more info, I will be home in about 1 week. I can give you tap size and drill size and I can even measure my yoke to tell you where to drill.
PS: Went on a hike a saw a moose today about 1/2 mile from our camp site. We were camped near Teton Pass, a few miles west of Jackson, WY.
