New RAncho's

I put new Rancho RSX 1700 series shocks on the truck today front and back. Theres a big Summit RAcing store on the way to atlanta so I stopped in there and bought them. I went in going after the Bilsteins But the guy that waited on me insisted on the Rancho RSX's. He showed me a couple of pics with him running a sponsored truck in the BAJA 1000 that was maxxed out with Rancho shocks. So I guess you could say he's road tested some shocks in a professional manner.
I've only taken it for a short drive with a rough turn around spot, could tell a bit of a difference in the ride, and it took a couple of Mystery Squeaks out of the truck......... 150K miles on the stock shocks, i'd say it was time for some new ones. I'll let you know how they do when I hook up the 5th wheel.
And if you ever go into a Summit Racing Store, take someone with you that can keep you in control, You'll want to buy the whole store. I bought the shocks and a new wheel bearing packing tool and it was all I could do to get out of the store without turning around. My hands where shaking I wanted to buy something else so bad....... Coolest parts store you'll ever walk into........
