Drive By Religion
As you know we are here at the Bay Hide Away RV park on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. This area is slow to recover from hurricane Katrina. While driving around we came across this church that the storm surge from the hurricane had deposited along the side the road. Where this church was originally I have no idea, but it has been sitting in this ditch since 2005. The opposite side of the church was completely collapsed. This is truely a strange sight.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, body thoroughly used up, worn out, and screaming, “WOO HOO, what a ride!”

That's real sad that we send billions of dollars over seas but can't even clean up things like this here. I'm sure the people in this region are tired of removing buildings like this.

I completely agree with you. We have billions of dollars to help other countries after a disaster, but there are still many areas in this country where the money would be better spent.

Maybe I should go back to this building and look to see if there are any Ruby Slippers sticking out.
