Re: posting names
Just use the same naming convention as the other forum and possibly the numbers necessary:
Starting Member 0 - 100
Junior Member 101 - 250
Average Member 251 - 400
Senior Member 401 - 600
Advanced Member 601 - ......
And while you are at it, start oldelmer1 and shooter out as ADVANCED MEMBERS or FORUM JUNKIES

Re: posting names
The names used on the other forum would work, but I think this new forum should be more original, and not have parts become clones of the other. It should have a personality of its own.
I agree that the people who posted the most helpful information might want to be recognized for all their previous efforts, but that was then and this site is now. Let's all start at zero and earn our special recognition for this site as time goes by. I know, that's easy for me to say, since I'm still at "new member" status over there.

Re: posting names
If we credit some, we have to credit all. So, I say it's not worth the trouble. Besides, what difference does it make, we'll all be up there soon. Just my two cents. (and one more post, ha ha ha)

Re: posting names
How about a traveling song theme?
Wanderer
Country Roads
Coming 'Round the Mountain
Happy Trails to You
East Bound and Down
Breezing Along with the Breeze (this one is from The Long Long Trailer)
Not necessarily in that order. I know there are more, but I'm too tired to think.

Re: posting names
Two more ideas:
How about topography?
Desert
Valley
Hill
Mesa
Mountain
Or National Parks?
Petrified Forest (good for a newbie, dontcha think?)
Everglades (still in the swamp)
Yosemite (strength of granite)
Yellowstone (good old faithful)
Redwood (tall trees – second highest rank)
Grand Canyon (the best for the highest rank)
