Holding Tank Valves
I'm curious, after you winterize your trailer, do you leave the tank valves open or closed and your reasoning for doing so. I've done both and can't decide if one way or the other is right or if it even matters.

Re: Holding Tank Valves
After I complete the winterization procedure and see that anti-freeze is flowing out of the holding tank, I close the valves. Never had any problems.

I have always kept ours closed. I'm not sure if it matters one way or the other.

Re: Holding Tank Valves
I leave them closed after making sure that there is about a gallon of AF in each tank. The runs down and sits against the valves, protecting them through the freezing weather here in NH. Just my $0.02
