Make sure the antenna booster is off for cable.

Do you need the jumper cable under the TV for cable?

Ours needed the jumper to push the signal to the TV.

The recepticle that has 2 coax hook ups ,,,, Thats where you need to use a short jumper. that will continue the cable to the Tv.

Heres a link to the Diagram picture. Notice toward the bottom left of the picture and you'll see where the jumper goes Sat in / Sat out......

Good diagram, Admin. I would add the labels, "Sat In" and "Sat Out" on the picture to add clearity.

OK.. Time for my silly question...
I have an 08 24RL.
The question is where do you plug the park cable in.
At the (Tele/Coax) combo box or the single coax plug on the passenger side.
The other RV's I've owned the park cable plugged in on the driver side where the park cable box is located. I've looked at the schematics you fine folks have provided and I have read through the owners pamphlet to no avail. I asked the dealer to check it out and they came back with it plugs in on the passenger side, but Oh by the way you owe us $88 since there was no problem to fix.
Where do you plug the park cable in ?

My 29RLBS has the park cable connection on the left side along with the other shore connections (water, phone, etc). There is also a cable connection on the right side, but this is designed to be an output in case you want to watch TV outside (go figure).

When you hook up to the park connection, do you have any problem seeing the signal inside? My problem is that when I plug in to the park connection, I don't see it inside on my tv.

I cannot get a TV siginal when I hook to the driver/utilities side, but when I plug into the passengerside I get a signal. My issue is that this is reverse from all the other RV's I have owned. The cable has allways plugged in on the utility side where the park cable box is and not on the far side of the RV where you have to drag the cable under the unit and have it sticking out of the middle of the wall. Looks tacky and requires a very long coax.

The correst hook up is on the driver's side with the phone jack.

The passenger side is for an output.

The reason it works opposite is because you need to jump the coax inside to push the signal to the TV. There should be an outlet cover that has 2 coax fittings on it. There needs to be a jumper wire from the one coax connector to the other......just a short piece of coax between the two.

I think a lot of folks have had this problem with the cable not working when connected to the street side of the camper. I believe the issue was that the splitter connections were connected wrong. I think the splitter is located behind the Concertone. Just pull the Concertone out and look at the splitter, the INPUT should be a red cable, at least mine is red.

Hopefully, someone who had this problem will chime in and correct me if I'm wrong.

It is not connected wrong. The way the system is wired, you can put a signal into the Concertone through the right side (outside TV) connection. It will work. If you want to use the left side (Park connection) connector you need to install the jumper. Here is a drawing.

Re: Cable TV Hook-Up

For simplicity I do not run my tv through the concertone. On my Cat set up, I connect the tv to the top coax connection (on the 2 coax connector plate in the entertainment center) when I am receiving from antennae, and the bottom coax connection when receiving from park cable. Park cable comes in through street side hookup. If I want to watch tv outside using the curb side connection, it is a direct feed if using park cable. If I am using antennae, then I have to jumper the 2 coax connections on the coax plate in the entertainment center.

I have never tried to run tv into the Cat from the curb side. We also only use one tv, so do not have to worry about splitter connection into the bedroom.

That's exactly the way I have our Wildcat hooked up.

That works. If you look at my drawing, that is also what I am doing.

I found that FR had wired my splitter upside-down in my case ( apparently there was a run of 2004 'Cats where the splitters were installed incorrectly). To fix the problem I had to get at the splitter which is located in the wall between the entertainment center and the hallway.

Problem solved. Woo Hoo.
The tech said the curb side was the park cable input... I said baloney. Got another tech to look it over and low and behold I was correct. Turned out to be a bad connection on the backside of the dual outlet with the short jumper wire. Replaced that and all is good.
For what it is worth the RCA jack goes to a video input on the TV. Now I can watch DVD's on the concertone.
Thanks for all the comments.. I did use them to help convince the service people that they were wrong. I saved a 100 bucks and my cable now works. :)

Glad to hear all worked out.

Isn't it a shame when WE have to tell these techs' how things should be working. :x
