Another Michigan WC...

Post by 84Scrambler on 8/20/2008, 1:55 am

We bought our 2007 32 QBBS in July 2007 and use it to travel to compete with our dogs in Flyball tournaments. We chose the front quad bunk because we could load all the dog crates up there and get to them without pushing the slides out. So, now we can haul the dogs in the trailer while we are driving. It has been the perfect set-up for us. I want to get some graphics on the front calling it "The Dog House". Laughing

We are in Dansville, which is just SE of Lansing.

welcome Hope you enjoy the Forum. I don't think our dog would go for fiding in the Cat. I'm sure riding up in the front is much more enjoyable for them. Our dog spends most of her time on our bed when she is left in the Cat. Part of it I'm sure is to be able see out.

I'm not sure how much input I will have. I will be soaking up a lot on here though.... For example, I am not happy that my dealer didn't bother to tell me about the extra year of warranty from FR. I called a couple weeks ago about the Concertone not working and some other issues only to find out that most of it wasn't covered under our "extended bumper to bumper" warranty. They were positive it would cover almost anything we would ever need fixed... Of course I called the dealer 2 days after the one year FR/WC warranty expired...

Welcome. It is always great to see another Michigander on the forum. There are a lot of WC owners here in Michigan. Sorry to hear about the Concertone issue, as you will see a good number of people on this website has had some issue with there Concertone from system wiring to not working at all. Good luck getting that fixed.

By the way, where did you get your WC? We got are Cat in Jackson at Larry's RV.

Hi 84Scrambler, and welcome to the forum.

What kind of issues are you having with your Concertone? We all might be able to assist better than the dealer.

You could try calling the Forest River Rep and see if he can help out:

We bought ours at Gillette's near Lansing.

The DVD player refuses to recognize a DVD, the outside speakers quit, and the bedroom speakers quit. I have to think some of it is wiring that worked loose, but the DVD part makes me thing internal electronic failure. I will probably skip the Concertone and find a 2-zone receiver so I can have speakers in the main cabin area and outside. I will have to rig up an infrared receiver of sorts to use a remote outside though to control the volume and change channels. Football season is coming up. I better figure this out. :) I am taking it in to Gillette's next week, so I will see what they say.

Good news... FR/WC is going to cover the cost off all the repairs I had done last week. They are ordering a new Concertone unit for us!
