Front Decal Peeling

Post by Skids on 8/14/2008, 3:17 pm

Hi everyone! The front decal on my '05 Wildcat is starting to peel at the edges. I know this decal gets the biggest beating from wind and rain. Any advice on how to correct the problem and prevent any further peeling? Thanks.

I think about the only option is to replace it. You might be able to trim the loose edges off and make them last a little longer, but probably terminal. Let us know how it works out.

Skids,
I was just wondering what you did about your decals. Ours are peeling also. They almost look like they shrank a little all the way around.

I think if mine ever peel off,, I'm gonna go to one of the

" Body Wrap " shops that do the total car decals and do something " Custom "

Or just order a new model nose cap and upgrade to a new camper lol!

It never hurts to try all they can say is no, at least then you can price around or ask them if they can be made and from whom.

I didn't want the same crappy decal from Forest River, so I'm having a boat lettering guy paint on the logo using Awlgrip paint.

Make sure you take some pics it should look nice being painted then a sticker more detail in the paint, plus you can have him add your number to the front.

I am having the same issue on my 2004. All I really want to do is remove them. What is the best way to do it?

I had all of our decals replaced about two years ago. I took pictures and sent them to our dealer. The extended warrenty took care of replacing them.
