Sorta new here in Virginia

Post by Schleprock on 7/17/2008, 3:24 am

Joined the forum last month to "research" an '09 30 Loft. Was previously known as "holmesb" because I didn't know catchy names were the "norm" in the forums..... Since I do have a catchy name I decided to update my profile and add a pic...

Anyway, just bought and dragged home an 09 30Loft from Richmond Indiana (Tom Raper RV). I was a nervous wreck but everything went GREAT! Tom Raper RV was FANTASTIC to work with and they treated me great. Couldn't have asked for a better first time experience! The "DW" and the XY's (and K9's) stayed home so I was on my own for the entire adventure! Thankfully nothing went wrong on the way home (except when I forgot what state I was in and went the wrong way on the interstate........) Been reading alot on the DIY forum and can't wait to start in on some projects / upgrades of my own.
Have everything I need to take the camper out for its first run except a reservation at a camp ground somewhere close..... The missus is the planner, I'm just the hired help!

Many thanks to Shooter and his infinite wisdom! He has been a great help answering my questions and concerns.

Looking forward to sharing experiences here and will get a nice pic of the 5er and TV once I get them downloaded. Was able to take a SWEET picture of the truck and camper in front of the Cabelas in Wheeling WV. Added yet another Cabelas store to the list of ones visited! After leaving the Cabelas I conveniently forgot what state I was in....... several miles the wrong way I finally figured it out.
The first adventure is done and over, the camper is home. We are all really looking forward to the new adventures....! cheers

Welcome. Nice name - cute. The other would have been fine also. We have all sorts of names here. :)

Happy trails and lots of enjoyment out of your new 'Cat.

Welcome to the forum, and yes, take lots of photos

throw a good one in the gallery and maybe your rig will show up on the logo up top. I try to shuffle them every week so everyone has their rig up there.
If you need any help with anything just ask.

Phillip
