For All Folks That Split & Burn Wood
Livin' in the mountains, we burn and split a lot of wood. Water stoves are a great source of heat, but they love wood. Someone shared this video with me, and I have just got to pass it on. It is my favorite. Unless you split wood, you might not appreciate this "mans toy", as much. Sure wish I had one. Awesome. If the link does not paste correctly, just type in Wood Cutting & Splitting Attachment , on Youtube. It is the splitter on a Bobcat.
Darn... I cannot paste the link correctly. Sorry. Hope you can look it up though.

Re: For All Folks That Split & Burn Wood
That was amazing! Started watching and wondered what happened if it jammed - then got the answer. Scruffy split a lot of wood for the fireplace when he was younger. Now we just buy it - that's much better for his back.

Re: For All Folks That Split & Burn Wood
You could buy a whole lot of fire wood for what that rig attachment would cost. But it sure looks efficient.

But it would put a serious crimp in the fun factor.

I run equipment all the time, that little machine would get boring in about 10min. You should try driving a 100 ton haul truck one day, now thats got some pucker factor to it. Especially running at night and dumping on a stockpile in pitch black dark.
