Re: New Member geowr1
I'm new to the forum, supposed to pick up my new 2011 Wildcat 302 next week. After reading forum Im very concerned about "bubbling/delamination" problem has this been solved on the 2011 units? did I make a bad choice?
Thanks George

Hi George...Welcome to the group. Glad you're here.
You made a fine choice. Everything ever made will have a few units that have something wrong with them. It would be similar to getting a brand new set of tires and getting a flat on the way home. Chances of that happening are mighty slim...but it does happen. Mine has been fine. My BIL has a Wildcat two years older than mine and his is fine also.
Folks that have a problem will always be more vocal than those that don't.....

George.Wildcat = more bang for the buck.
I've had mine for 5 years now with no delam problems. Roof maintenance is key.
Hope you have many years of enjoyment with your new Cat.

Re: New Member geowr1
Ours is 5 years old, and we have a slight delamination in two places. We think we have it fixed, as it hasn't gotten any worse since we noticed it - and it really isn't very noticeable.
Forest River is aware of the delamination problems that people have been having and has been making repairs - I imagine they have resolved this issue with newer models.
At our age, I don't know if we'd be interested in getting another trailer - ours has everything we want - except a fireplace. If, and it's a pretty big IF, we were to get another, it would probably be a Wildcat 272rlx. It's probably a good thing for our pocketbook that the 272rlx doesn't have a fireplace.
