Monkey banana's

Post by Carpe Diem on 6/20/2008, 10:57 am

Here is a different treat to try around the campfire. I think I got some of this from another forum, but added a few twists of my own. Caution to the heart disease impaired.

1 banana
1-2 marshmallows
brown sugar
cinnamon
graham crackers
reese's PB cup or hershey chocolate bar

Place tin foil out on counter. Place banana on tin foil and split down the middle. Sprinkle with a little brown sugar and cinnamon. Tear marshmallow apart and place on banana. Crumble reese's PB cup or hershey chocolate bar over top. Seal up tin foil and fold end. Place on a grate or near the edge of the camp fire for about a minute or two. Dont' place in direct fire. Remove and open tin foil. I crumble a little graham cracker over top to finish it off. The kids ran in the camper and grabbed the whip cream to add their own twist. Like I said, not for the faint at heart....lol, but sure was tasty.

I've got to try this - sounds like an even higher calorie version of s'more's. I think the kids have the right idea. :)

My wife and kids have to have s'more's when we go camping. This sounds like a good addition to their menu.

Thanks,
