A touching Christmas Story.

Post by BobnPi on 12/19/2011, 10:40 am

A married couple had been out shopping at the mall for most of the afternoon, suddenly, the wife realized that her husband had "disappeared".The somewhat irate spouse called her mate’s cell phone and demanded: "Where the heck are you?"Husband: "Darling you remember that Jewelery shop where you saw that incredible diamond necklace and totally fell in love with it and I didn't have money that time and said 'Baby it'll be yours one day'?"Wife, with a smile blushing: "Yes, I remember that my Love!"Husband: "Well, I'm in the Pub next to that shop."

Landmarks are good when giving directions. The Kohl's where I usually shop didn't have what I was looking for, so Scruffy said he would drive me to another one in a nearby town. He wasn't sure where it was, though, so I told him - "it's right across the highway from Hobby Lobby - the little highway, not the big one." "North of Hobby Lobby?" "Yes, right next to Home Depot." "Why didn't you say that in the first place?" He took me right to Kohl's. Wrong landmark, I guess. BTW, that Kohl's had exactly what I needed.

The difference between male and female instructions:

Male: Put this in the second cabinet on the right, top shelf, right side, about halfway back.

Female: Put this in that over there.

At least it's that way at my house. Wink
