Great service from Forest River in Dallas Oregon.
The other day as I was walking by our WC, I noticed a bubble on the side.
It did not look good. I called Jody Kingston at the WC factory in Dallas Oregon where we purchased our WC. We found out that a crack in the caulking on the roof caused water to run down the inside which caused the bubble. Since I have the roof inspected routinely, and the crack had not been observed, she went beyond the call of duty and said that they would fix the problem for a minimal $500 material/labor cost. She said that repairs like I need normally run in the thousands of dollars.
This great service is another reason I purchased a Forest River Wildcat. I have an appointment with her after the holidays for the repair.
Thank you Jody.

That's really cool and fortunate that you only live a day's drive from the factory.

That reminds me, I need to check the seals around the roof before it starts to snow or rain this season. I can't believe it's been so dry.

Maxtor, could there potentially be some liability on the part of the folks doing the regular inspecting?
First thing that came to my mind after reading your post was...$500.00 may be inexpensive compared to a regular fix. But on the other hand, $500.00 is darned expensive considering you pd someone to inspect your roof to prevent such a mishap.

Roof inspections at our local dealership are free. I have heard that inspections should be once a year, every six months, every three months. No consistency. I guess cracks can form in one day. Therefore I will check our roof frequently.

Being old and lazy, I have not taken the time to replace the old one. I better get busy before taking our next trip this spring.
