Roof Replacement
We have a 2006 Wildcat, 29RLBS. In Oct,2011, I went on the roof to install my A/C cover and noticed the roof material was sticky and would slide under mt feet. The roof membrane is being replaced by Carlisle-but Forest River informs me that the cost for installation is on me. SO MUCH FOR THE 12 YEAR WARRANTY!!! We like the trailer but the warranty kind of sucks.

Re: Roof Replacement
So with what you are saying, if my rubber roof goes bad, and is still under the warranty period, they pay for the material, but don't cover for the installation?

Re: Roof Replacement
Doesn't suprise me. Warranties are not what they used to be; lots of exclusions intended to limit manufacturer's responsibility. CAVEAT EMPTOR!!
Our roof gets checked at least twice every year: at the beginning and at the end of each camping season. More often if something like a branch falls on it. Doesn't take much to put a tear in that membrane.

Re: Roof Replacement
I have had 3 prior RV's all less than 3 years old each that that got slight damage from falling/rubbing branches in campgrounds. I always carry a repair kit purchased from Camping World. If you use your RV a lot there's always the chance of damage to the roof so be prepared and check it often.
