Eisenhower State Park, Denison, Texas
We are heading out in the morning for a 4 day weekend. We are looking at going over to Eisenhower State Park north of Dallas in Denison right on Lake Texoma. Any experience out there? We plan to spend Saturday hitting a couple of local wineries if we can.

Let us know how you like it. We've never camped up there. Our trailer is at a local trailer dealer (not Wildcat) getting it's wheel bearings packed, or we might consider joining you.

It is a very nice park. Very large and the full hook-ups are only $20. You do have the $5 per person Texas State Park fee unless you have a park pass for $70 (well worth it with the other discounts provided). The casino at Durant is very nice and I did my part of contributing to their well being. The casino is about 15 minutes from the park, but we did find out that the casino has a campground associated with it although we never went and looked at it.
