New alternator= $200
best friend that will bring you some tools and help you install it on the side of the road = absolutely priceless.
Well I do owe him lunch one day this week, but well worth it.

I am glad to hear you received help from your friend. Yes a true friend is the one who will get up at 3 a.m. and get out of bed to help his or her friend in need, not complain and be happy to do it.

FRIENDS, kid one another about things. Mostly about football, baseball, basketball etc.
Since Tom does not like sports, it limits me to his lawn mower or his truck. Since he has a nice lawnmower, it defaults to the truck.
He knows I like his truck..(edit) I used to like his truck...
