Posting help needed.

Post by TLC on 11/14/2011, 8:08 pm

I know I have read this in here before but I can't require where. I am trying to create a profile by my name and a signature at the bottom of the post. I think I may have created a profile by my name but still can't figure the signature at the bottom out.

Click on "Profile" just below the photo above, then click on the "Signature" tab (one in a row of six just below the ad space), enter your signature information, click on "SAVE" at the bottom of the page. The last step is critical, without it everything is lost.

Yes, simple as it sounds, not hitting save was my mistake. Have since learned how to install picture. The only thing now is I wish this thing had a spell check as I have posted some really screwed up words..................lol

Not hitting "save" was my mistake way back when, and it took a few tries before I figured it out. I've learned a lot since then - and still learning.

If you have GOOGLE toolbar installed, one of the options is SPELL CHECK, its under GOOGLE TOOL BAR OPTIONS. It becomes a cl icky at the top of Internet Explorer.

Jack -

You clicked "Profile" and a page opened with your Registration Information?

At the top of the information box was this line of tabs or choices:
Information -- Preferences -- Signature -- Avatar -- Topic(s) being watched -- Favourites

Did you click "Signature?" If you did, a box opened much like the one you use to post a reply. Type Action Jack in the box, then go to the bottom and click "save" or "send" - then come back to this topic and do your test. I hope it works.

If that's what you've been doing, then I don't know what to suggest, except try again, and don't get discouraged.

Tater
