I really like the photos at the top of the forum. I wish they included the location. I have seen some really nice camping pictures but don't know where they are! Thanks!! Duke

Duke,

Yes, you're right, some really nice looking places. the one up there now I believe belongs to Mike(schrowang), but I don't remember where it was taken.

All the pictures are from the GALLERY, but if the poster doesn't give the picture a title, its hard to tell where it is.

The pix of my 29RLBS under the rainbow was taken at the Zion River Resort in Virgin, UT in September, 2009. We were visiting Zion National Park at the time.

One of those 15 minute storms came through and then the rainbow appeared almost by magic. You can see Bonnie, the DW in the roadway behind the trailer.

BTW if you're going to visit Zion NP, Zion River Resort is a great CG. We'd stay there again and recommend it without reservation.

Thats I nice place Mike...when did you go to Zion? we were there in 2010 is the canyon road construction finished?

We stay in Page AZ at Wahweap CG, I cant say enough good stuff about that place its in the hub of many southwest NP's...if you go back I know you would like it...HUGE sites we have been going for 7 years and never had a bad spot...however loop C is the best!

Thats a nice shot for sure!

WoW, that is nice. Thanks for the info.. We were there in 2003, didn't stay at that campground.I believe we stayed just outside the park,Zion, on the east side. I remember we went through the tunnel as we went into the park.. Sure is nice in the south west..
