Onboard water tank BURPing !!
Yep, that is what I said.....BURPing...... actually I forgot all about this problem and of course didnt tell the repair techs about it so to be fixed.
What happens, as when I insert a water hose to fill the tank, it takes the water for a minute or so, then "spits" it back out. Now I know it hasnt filled up, and also hasnt come out the overflow breather hole either. Now I know you all are going to laugh, but what I have to do to cure this little problem is push on the side of the WC, get it rocking abit, and pretty soon you'll hear a "BURP" and then the tank can be filled all the way until water shoots out the breather. I suspect there is an airlock in the breather line, thereby not letter water to fill the tank due to excessive pressure until I "rock it"....baby....
Anyone else have this problem??? Since the lines are hidden under that underseal, I havent really taken a look, but if and when I take it back in for repair, as know there will be a time, I will mention it...

Re: Onboard water tank BURPing !!
The didn't hook up the breather hose to the screen at the filler spout on our cat, the hose was sticking out of the underbelly. I encountered the same problem filling the tank and found that a mud-dobber had closed of the breather hose....

No breather and you have problems filling.

Re: Onboard water tank BURPing !!
Had the same problem back in 2005 with our 2006 RLBS WC. The overflow hose was plugged at the factory or dealer prior to picking it up. I always wondered why someone went to the trouble of plugging the short hose next to the tank instead of connecting a longer hose up to the screen connection where you fill the tank. The way I fix the problem was by running a new hose myself. If you think about it the Air in the tank has to go somewhere as the water goes in.

Really simple for some us out here in the country that use irrigation pipelines. They put vents in them suckers for some reason.

Check the filler hose for kinks and check it at the tank to be sure it isn't hanging below the tank connection acting as a water trap. The filler hose needs to breathe as well.

Quickest fix is to slow your fill rate.
