truck box wont open!
Morning all!
A friend gave me a Truck Trunk Vbox. Its made by Creative Industries - which I think has long gone out of business. Trouble is I cant get it open! When I picked it up from him we worked for an hour trying to (carefully) pry it open. He said it had been sitting for almost a year (outside) but he had it open then to un-bolt it from his truck. He said when it was secured in his bed he would lift the front tab, then bop the front top right corner and it would pop open.
So it might have some issues to be dealt with AFTER I get it open but its free so I'm willing to go the extra mile here!
It 'feels' like something isnt releasing completely inside. He also wasn't sure if the key unlock position was verticle or horizontal but we did try both ways.
I'm gonna try to get a hold of one of those 'Mechanic-cams' and see if I can get a peak inside from the bolt hole in the bottom. I've tried searching for info online with little results.
Until then if anyone has any thoughts on the situation, I'd be most grateful for the help!!
Thanks!

Re: truck box wont open!
It's like an industrial strength penetrating oil.
Any parts store will have it. White can red writing.
Works way better than wd40

Or use Kroil, I have found it to work better than PB.
