LED Replacement Bulbs

Post by oldelmer1 on 10/20/2011, 5:06 am

Thought I would pass this along....

I bought some LED replacement bulbs from someone who sells them on the Montana forum. They seem to be very good quality at what I think a reasonable price. He said he would sell them to the Wildcat forum also if anyone was interested.

What he requests is, you send him an e-mail with what you want, then he sends you back an invoice e-mail with the prices for the bulbs, plus shipping. You pay via PAYPAL, and he sends you the bulbs.

He doesnt not stock a lot, so sometimes you might have to wait a few weeks for them.

Here's what they look like, (ignore the wording cause he did this for the Montana forum):

Here is a breakdown of what bulbs are replaced with the LED's.
921 = T2-18 and goes in the majority of ceiling light fixtures as well as the bathroom fixtures.

1156 = BA15s (Single connector on bottom) for the porch, scare and front utility light.

1004 = BA15d (Double connector on bottom)for wall sconces and some kitchen fixtures.

Be sure to verify your existing bulbs before ordering from him.

His name is Michael, and his e-mail address is rvtravlr@gmail.com.

Be sure to mention the WILDCAT FORUM in your request.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for the info. There are some places we'd be interested in replacing our existing bulbs with LEDs..... especially the porch and step lights.

We replaced the ones in the rear of the camper, made a really big difference, much brighter, and NO HEAT!!! Also replaced the ones at the dining room table and at the top of the steps where the shower is.

Its really surprising how much whitter these LED's are.

Just be sure to cross reference the existing bulb numbers with the LED numbers.

I am replacing, as I can, with actual LED light fixtures. They actually work better. The ones shown here are okay but we get more light of the fixtures.
