Wiring reroute from battery to convertor 2012 WC322RK
During winterizing I noticed that the wiring for the battery to the convertor is attatched to the outside of the frame, and where it passes over the wheels it kind of just hangs there with no attatchment for about 6'. Also the slide mechanism had pinched the wire a number of times and the white wire (neutral) was almost severed and bare copper exposed.
I cut the wire near the front of the trailer and rerouted the wire so that it is attatched to the propane line with zip ties about every foot. Used crimpon connectors to reconnect the wire and all finished. This puts the wire on the other side of the leaf sping brackets and will prevent the wire from being ripped out if Iever have a tire failure as I experienced on our first rig. That tire failure ripped out the wiring AC and DC that called for emergency repair. Just a heads up!!!

It sounds like a good solution to your problem. Of course, it shouldn't have been that way in the first place.
