Suspension?

Suspension?
I have a question about the suspension, and I have no idea what I'm talking about, so bear with me if you can.
Scruffy wants to change/replace the suspension. He called Tweety's today. He wants the Equa-Flex Rubber Equalizer - but the guy at Tweety's said Lippert bought Equa-Flex, and they don't make the equalizer. The guy at Tweety's knew of just one other manufacturer - Mor Ride. Do any of you know of someone else who makes this thing, or can you recommend the Mor Ride? Scruffy thinks there might be a company called EasyLift, or someone makes something called EasyLift.
I think I got the question right. Any info would be appreciated. Scruffy will be home Saturday morning, and he'll understand your replies, if any.
Another question - this one is on my own, but I still don't know what I'm talking about. He wants to replace the pinbox - put one on that will eliminate the bucking or at least most of the bucking. I think what he's been looking at is a Demco. He's researched it on-line, and talked with someone at Demco. He needs to know the hole placement on our frame.... or some number that is on the frame. But, someone painted over the number. I think I have that straight. Anyway, if anyone has the 2007 29rlbs, maybe they can look at theirs. Scruffy is thinking of e-mailing Rod Batts with our vin number - do you think Rod can find out what Scruffy needs to know - based on the vin?
OK, I think I did pretty well with that
. Hope you can understand what I'm trying to say.

Re: Suspension?
Hi Tater,
HERE is the link to trail air's page for the equa-flex. This is where I bought mine from. Also you should get the wet bolt kit also.
When replacing the pin box, you just need the model number of the old pin box, I think its 1621, but I can verify tomorrow cause I still have my old pin box in the garage.
I really liked the Demco box, and I'm sure others will say the same.

Re: Suspension?
Some Manufactures are starting to use the Mor Ride system. I recently attended a seminar that compared the different suspension systems out there. Granted this seminar was put on by Mor Ride so it was slightly biased :). They did compare the two and they seemed very similar to me. As Tom said the wet bolt kit would be a good option.

Re: Suspension?
Now I remember - Scruffy said he needs the model of the pinbox. That's what someone painted over.
Thanks for all the info. If anyone has anything else to contribute, please do.
It would be great if the Equa Flex is still being made, maybe the guy at Tweety's was wrong.
When Scruffy gets home Saturday morning, he will read your replies. Even though I'm sure it would be okay, he refuses to use the company's computer for personal stuff - except e-mails from me.

Re: Suspension?
Tater,
I find it hard to believe that they stopped making the Equa-Flex, here is their phone number to call and see it they did, (866) LCI-SVC1.
This is the part you would need:
Part Number EQ 4K/LCI 145539
Description: Equa-Flex flexible rubber equalizer, 4K-8K load range, tandem axle, boxed
Suggested Retail: $253.75
You also should do the wet bolt kit too, although I cant find any info on it.
