Surprise: Photo on WildcatCamperForum!

Post by Glen Schumann on 10/2/2011, 12:58 am

Pleasantly surprised to see a photo of my rig on the forum this morning. That shot is from our first camping trip ever with ouir WC. We are in Perot State Park just outside of Trempeleau, WI. The park is on the Mississippi River and is about 20 miles from our home in Winona, MN. The time was early April, 2008. For those of you who might not be familiar, the white stuff is snow. Our rig was snowed on the first trip each of our first two camping seasons.

Thanks for the memory Phillip!

THAT is camping weather. I'm guessing you had your water tank full and didn't use the campground water?

A blanket of snow - even light - can make bare trees so beautiful.
Looks great!

The only hook ups in Perot are electric; but we did have campground water by fillling up at the maintenance building near the campground.
