Kennesaw Taylor, Author from Middle Ga
I've got a friend that I grew up with thats a southern author Kennesaw Taylor.
He writes columns in some of the local papers around middle ga.
He's a survivor of a brutal childhood. Travels the country doing talks on child abuse and writing stories of his travels on his way.
Had a long talk with him today. His next journey is to peru. By car. From Milledgeville,GA.
I was like " What ? " . He's like, Don't worry, its just as dangerous getting out on the highway here. Plus my new wife is from peru. She can speak very good spanish, and can argue the horns off a bull.
I was like well OK,,,, your right ,,,, Go for it. Now thats what I call a Road Trip........
Anyway, If you like reading southern authors he has some good books to read with some very interesting stories.
His father had ties to the irish mob and their the one's that eventually did him in but your gonna have to read the book to get the details. Its some great reading along with the stories of how Kennesaw and the rest of his family survived it all and his many stories from traveling on the road.
Check him out at http://kennesawtaylor.com
He can use all the help he can get for his grand road trip. He's also on face book under Kennesaw Taylor.
And if you do buy a book,,, there not that expensive, tell him I sent you.
His latest book which I bought today is " I've got the south in my mouth, and I can't get it out ".
I'm not even a avid book reader but every time I start in on one of his stories I find myself not being able to put it down.

I'll have to look into that. The name actually sounds familiar.
