drip drip
Ok. I have checked the topic posts so if I am repeating some thing that you all know about forgive me. I have a 2007 26fb tt. The bathroom is in the rear of the trailer. The water pump, saniflush, and city inlet are all a compartment under the bathroom sink. I bought the trailer new and have had this ongoing battle with a tiny water leak since about day one. It is never very much. If i could gather it all up I would say less than a quarter cup at a time. it started in the cupboard under the sink, once in a while, the bottom of the cabinet would be wet. I couldn't feel any fittings loose going to the sink. eventually found the culprit. I have since removed and bypassed the water filter. ( I know that some of you here swear by them for safety, but every where I travel here in the mountain west I have had access to good water. )
Sometimes after a shower there will be some water running out from under the cabinet. Just a little bit. and maybe one day every week or so. I open the compartment where my pump and plumbing is located and tighten up the plastic fittings. This stops the drip and I go on with life. I have been living full time in the Wildcat since about late Arpil or May. My teenage son has come to live with me there. ( who knew I wouldn't have to work to retirement age to enjoy being a full time RV'r ) I am not hooked up to city water and run off the fresh water tank system. (probably would do this anyway because I am fearfull of coming home from work to find my house is now a fish bowl from a broken water line.
I it is usually early morning when this occurs and of course I am not in the mood to take a flashlight out and with wet hair go digging around in the tiny compartment that houses my water lines. It seems to me to be the lines that basicly look like braided hose with the threaded connections that are always working loose, maybe with the vibration on the water pump. Has any one replaced these hoses with pex or the like to stop these fittings constantly working loose. while i was reading posts looking for some help someone mentioned the gorrilla fittings. I think thats what they are called. I have seen these and that they can be undone easily perhaps they would be a good solution to the issue I am having. I can't be the only one taking the little spanner wrench to the fittings. All advise will be greatly apriciated.

Re: drip drip
I don't think I've seen your problem discussed in the forum. Maybe it's in here somewhere, I just don't recall seeing it. That's a weired leak. The only leak we've ever had was where the water goes into the toilet. We had to replace a fitting, and it's been fine since. One thing..... when we had the leak, the pump would pulsate when it was running. After we fixed it, the pump started running the way it should.

Re: drip drip
You could try marking the joints with a marker to see which one is vibrating loose, or even a drop of nail polish.
I not sure I've heard of gorilla fittings, do you mean shark bite?
I use one of these and shut off the water before I leave the camper, well, most of the time when I remember.

One side is connected to the fresh water, the other side to the black tank flusher.

Re: drip drip
Thanks for your thoughts. oldelmer 1, I am embarrased that I didn't think of something so simple. I read far more on this site than I comment on. That simple thing is what I love about this site, someone has always been there before and is willing to offer a fresh veiw. Thanks again. If anyone else stumbles accross this and has input thanks in advance for your ideas.

Re: drip drip
I will double check the brand of fittings at the hardware store here. I could be way off on the name.

Re: drip drip
You also could try wrapping a paper towel around each fitting, then check it after a few days to see which one(or 2) are wet.
