Different Sightings at Betabel
Interesting things happening at Betable RV Park. More pictures to be posted after this post.
Individuals next to me, about my age, had an old camping stove with porcelain handles. Was his Dads. Have not seen stoves like this in years.

Instead of spending money to buy ice for the extra chest bring a 12 volt ice chest and use the extra money for beer.

For some reason they had to make their coffee outside. Also they tied their awning to the table. I hope that helps with the winds the park gets at night.

Stereo system in the side of an RV. Never have seen that on any rig. Was told it came that way. Quite hour starts at 10. Tell then time to rock and roll with Lynyrd, Stephen, MJ, and some wine. Time to take another trip without leaving the park, wake up at 8 the next morning and start all over again.

Now this is compact or lack of money.

New way to secure your rv. Nobody stealing that sucker. They came in with 4 or was it 3 bad tires and eventually mounted new ones before leaving.

This old car hit a 2 soft spots in this old man. The car is about a 66 and I grad in 68. If you look real close at the back window of the second picture you will see where He left his young and innocence. The other Vet I met was in NBSP. He was homeless and moving from site to site with His care taker and living in a tent. He jumped out of perfectly good airplanes and broke his back and had PTSD from being in a vehicle that was hit by an IED. He is still wondering how He walked away and most where carried away. All gave some and some gave all.

Again, some very nice pics. Did that little A-Frame.... thing.... pop up for more room?
Having only one kidney, I was auto 4F, so I missed the fun in Nam. I have many friends who, thankfully, returned home whole in body, if not in mind. Most have PTSD and are still in therapy. God bless all Vets! DW and I hold you all in very high esteem.

I have not seen one open for almost a year but if my memory is still there the sides fold out and down and there is a tent like covering attached.

Re: Different Sightings at Betabel
Forgot a couple.
Full-timers back yards. The first one had a spa but DW won and they move to town taking the spa with them. The new owners fixed it up there way.

Then I found this real hot chick in my trailer one day after my walk. She informed me that she was the boss of the trailer and I could stay if I made Breakfast everyday, BBQ when she asked, washed all the dishes, and performed any services requested above and beyond the call of duty (notice the ice pick). OOOPS I better get back to work the paper towels are empty.

You need to put your foot down my friend. I'll have you know that my wife knows her place. I'm the boss of my home and I have permission to say so.

My dad had one of those '63 Ford Ranchero pickups, as he had a radio/tv repair business here in Tulare. As far as Nam goes, I was a "tweener", in other words, between Korea and Nam, got out in '63.

If you have enough you can keep dreaming.
