Looks like really level pads. Look fairly new too. Did they do a lot of work there recently?

That Corps campground (west tailrace) was wiped out in 1993 and in 2008. Everything was redone in late 2008. The pads are great and double wide, the road through the campground is still gravel. There are boat ramps both above and below the dam.

The new truck is pretty impressive. It rides great and makes a 400 mile pull no big deal. I had a F250 V10 prior and it pulled good, it just would not pull past a gas station. MPG with the new diesel is still a little early to tell but I am already getting 35 to 40 % better MPG and the turbo V8 just wants to go 70. I am stumped over a warning light issue that my dealer just cant seem to solve. Any time I park on any uphill angle (like in my driveway which is about 5 degrees) I will get a low oil pressure warning on start-up. the dealer has tested and tested and cannot find anthing wrong. They have replaced the pressure sensing unit and re-flashed the computers but it persists. They have the factory working on it. frustrating but i'm confident that it will be resolved.

Since it was not a dually I was wondering about those 4:11's in it but it sounds like they are working great for pulling. Best of luck with the light. Not to be nasty but it took about a year to figure mine out. Sounds like is is another great Ford product.

It has either 3.31 or 3.55 gears depending on some other options. I have the 3.55 because I got the camper package. With the gearing of the auto 6-speed and the low end torque of the 6.7 it pulls like a tractor on low end and gets great mileage on top end. Biggest problem is restraining myself from playing with it, it will spin the tires with out even trying!

I'm running the 3:31 rear end, going for max mpg but it will still get up to speed limit at the end of an on-ramp... pretty cool. Still "breaking in" but I'm seeing 17+ unloaded, I think it will get better.

With the new engine/transmission combination all the ratios are different. I think the highest the 350 DW comes with is 3.73

An F350, Single rear wheel, 2 wheel drive, Diesel only comes in a 3:31.
Freeway mileage is better with a 3:73.
