Remodel

Post by Portagie1968 on Wed Sep 21, 2011 5:29 am

Getting ready to remodel a cabinet in the Wicked Kitty. Engineers had a brain dump when they made it. Anyway. I have asked Bev in Oregon for help locating the door and the parts and pieces. Is there any place on line that many carry the hinges and handles. The closer I might find at Home Depot. I do not know about the thingy to hang the clothes.

Need 3 handles, one set of hinges and screws, closer, and a thingy to hang clothes. To please the boss the door, handles, and hinges have to be the same. No negotiating at all.

I don't know if he's still around, but Larry Owens was the parts guy up in Oregon.

lowens@forestriverinc.com

You might see where he sources the parts if he can't get them. Beverly handles the warranties and she has proved to be pretty worthless after the sales.

If it doesn't have to be forest river stuff you can check these guys out

http://www.woodworker.com/

They have all kinds of hardware hinges, handles, etc. I've used them before and they are pretty good

Going to try his email. Beverly is now in parts.

A little after the fact now as you may have found what you are looking for but shouldn't your Wildcat dealer be able to order the parts in?!? I had cabinet work done when the latches didn't catch and it bent the heck out the hinges. They ordered the new ones from Forest River and they looked just like the others.

West Coast manufactures not able to help much so I called Kyle back East to see if they could get me everything I needed. He found it all and is sending as soon as everything is in his AO. Golden Cherry is the color. They do not use that color anymore. In about 2 weeks he should have everything.
