On the road for 190 days
Well we made our 190th day on the road by being in San Francisco. We are staying at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton(nice town). It is a short drive to the BART and about an hour or more and you are at Fishermans Wharf. It is a nice campground, some grass sites and others gravel for $28 a night. The towns around here, Dublin and Livermore are nice and not a lot of traffic. Lots of places to eat out, patio style. So if you are in the area think about staying here.
The Wildcat has been great, no problems and it has towed nicely. I can not say anything bad about this camper. Now I hope I don't jinx myself:))
We are still having a great time and really enjoyed the last 30 days seeing Mt Rainier, great hiking, Crater Lake, the beautiful blue water and the Redwoods, some big trees!!
Moving on to Yosemite tomorrow for a few days then to Sequoia. looking forward to this leg of the trip:)
I am still after all this time keeping the blog going. So if you want to follow along http://mga60tw.blogspot.com/
Thanks to all who kept my son in your prayers while he was in Kuwait and Iraq. He is back safe and sound and now enjoying Germany.
