Dragging brake
I may have found the cause of my blowout..... a dragging brake.
I was packing bearings, today, and when I got to the wheel that had the blowout, the shoes were paper thin, and brake dust was everywhere. Shoes were cracked, also. For some reason, either the shoes did not release, or were dragging in some way, causing the tires to drag, heat up, and blowout. Input, please, guys!

Re: Dragging brake
Was the magnet damaged in any way?, because this is the main component which makes the brakes operate..
But hopefully your troubles are over and you can tow your Cat with out any more hiccups. And get a few more MPG

Re: Dragging brake
No input here. Just find it very interesting. I wonder how long that was going on..... or if it could have caused a fire.
