Praise for Forest River and Rod

Post by love4God on 8/25/2011, 8:18 am

I had the corner on my back wall separating on my 32QBBS. It got so bad you could see the plywood and it was warped and really water damage. Even the inside wall was warped and wrinkled. Uh-oh. I called Forest River over the winter and Rod asked me to send a few pictures. They called me back and scheduled a time to drive my rig out to Indiana for repairs.

They had it for a few weeks and I picked it up a few weeks ago. I'm finally getting around to writing this post and saying that they did a fabulous job. My son and I picked it up and not only did they fix the problem with the separation, but we also had a mouse chew through our hydraulic and water line before we left (it was our first trip of the year) and they fixed that as well. They also fixed about a dozen other smaller annoyances and ran a water system test, LP test, and put it in the soaking garage to check for any leaks after the big repair. They really took care of us. Sadly, it's rare these days to find a company that stands behind their product the way Forest River did and I just wanted to commend them for a job well done.

Rod Batts took care of me from start to finish. He was there when I picked up and walked me through just like a PDI. I even mentioned a couple small things they hadn't noticed and he had it taken care of while we were waiting. Our Cat looks good as new in the back, inside and outside, and we were thrilled with the whole process. I was also impressed by how straightforward it was. I told them what was wrong and signed a form when I dropped it off and Rod shook my hand when we left. There wasn't a ton of paperwork or hassle or anything else. They just fixed the problem and sent me on my way.

My son and I even got to catch a drive in movie and stop at the NFL Hall of Fame on our drive back. It turned in to a really nice trip (except for the two blowouts on the way home, one on my trailer and one on my truck... ouch!).

Thanks Forest River and thanks Rod for taking care of a loyal customer and standing behind the quality of your product!

Good ole Rod. If it wasn't for him, some of us wouldn't be as sold on our Wildcats as we are.

One person CAN make a difference!! worthy

Sweet! I hope Rod and Forest River help me out as well. I also have delaminating goin on with the rear right side of the sidewall. I emailed Rod with pics Sunday 21st and no word yet. Also sent a copy of the email to Wildcat Chris via PM on this forum and no word from him either.

They gave me the same kind of treatment last year with dlaminating. The end product looks better than new off the line. The only bad thing is the radio it died with only two months of use.
Rod and guys did me right. I would purchase another Wildcat because of the treatment.

I'll check in with Rod on this today, Earl. With fall shows coming up and new floor plans, I've been away from the forum for a while...

Sounds like Rod already has this handled with Earl...

For the record, Rod is a great asset to our team and I appreciate his work as well. Thanks, Rod!

Thanks Chris! Sorry for the mix up. Yes, Rod has been great as well as Forest River. I drop my trailer Oct 24th for repairs. Rod has always helped me when I ask. I have a whole new outlook with Forest River. I would buy another Wildcat.

Glad we were able to take care of you, Earl (even while Rod was on vacation). Hope your time in Indiana was worthwhile!

I never saw the post asking me what year, it is a 2k7.

It's been about 2 months now and no problems.

I have a converter issue (see my other thread) but that's got nothing to do with the repairs FR took care of.

I'm glad Forest River and their people took the time to talk with me and even help me when they weren't obligated to do so.

I would of liked to met Rod as I've been in contact with him even before I ordered my Wildcat. Maybe I will get to meet him when I pick my trailer up.
I did enjoy my time in indiana. More the people than the state. I always enjoy meeting the people behind the product and being able to discuss features, changes and such.
