I just drove from Blairsville, GA to St Louis, MO and did not see a Wildcat. Maybe we will see one or two between St Louis, MO and Colorado Springs, CO.

Re: Where is everyone?
We drive the highway from Anchorage to Soldotna, OK actually Funny River, 2 or more roundtrips a month. In that 160 mile stretch we will see 1 to 2 Wildcats each direction. So, if you're driving that road and you see a couple of idiots waving to you, in either a silver Focus or a tan F-250, it's us. We only tow down in the spring and back in the fall.

Re: Where is everyone?
We've made the trip from D/FW to Leesburg, FL without seeing a cat a couple times. Then there are times when we see 2-3 every day.

Re: Where is everyone?
This has been an unusually cool summer for us. Normally we would be on the coast now. Here it is the middle of August and we are only at 90 degrees.
We should be at 105-115 degrees,,, then we would be on the coast.

Re: Where is everyone?
We see very few Cats on the road here in the Rocky Mountain west and NONE of the few I've seen have a Member Number on them! Are you displaying yours? Guess they don't know a good forum when they see one?

I sure have seen alot of Cats in the Ashdown / Texarkana area lately. I keep waving and giving the "Left Paw", sometimes I get a wave, but never a paw back.

Texas Rangers fans might think you are giving the "claw" sign, and wave (or claw) back. I imagine there are a few Rangers fans in that area.

Just a little farther north east and you couldn't throw a rock without hitting a Wildcat.
We just returned from camping at our state fair and seen at least a dozen Cats there. Even seen two Wildcat TT's.

There are three Cats at Colter Bay RV campground in Grand Teton National Park. We have a newer model Cat parked immediately on our left and a newer model Cat parked directly in front of us. Only saw one other on the 1800 mile trip here from Alabama.

Re: Where is everyone?
I always make a point of introducing myself to other Cat owners I see in whatever CG we are in. I write down the address of this forum but have yet to see any of them post. Maybe they read here, but they sure don't post. I've done this at least a dozen times, probably more. I would hope they are at least getting something good out of reading.

Re: Where is everyone?
Some of the names on the member list were generated by robots. They might be real people, but they subscribe to a service that, with the push of a button, puts their name on hundreds of forums. Then, the same message with links to other sites (Fake Gucci handbags was a recent one) is posted on all of the forums that will accept them. Sometimes one gets in here, and as soon as a moderator spots it, it gets deleted, and the "member" gets banned. A recent bot that got in here was very "smart" - somehow it picked up a line from a previous reply, and used it to make it appear that it was really someone interested in our forum...... only a moderagtor recognized the line as something a real member had said previously.
Since clicking on corrupted links could get your computer infected with a virus, malware, or spyware, please don't let your curiosity take over. If you are interested in Fake Gucci handbags, Google it and find a legitimate site.
The phpBB people (who provide the software and maintenance) for this board have done things to prevent this from happening, but sometimes the bots find a way around it.
So, a lot of those "members" have never seen this forum. Then there are others who actually log on occasionally, but don't post. Sometimes there will be a first message from someone who joined weeks or months before posting. Always glad to see one of those reluctant members finally join in.
