Vinyl floor repair

Post by Scruffy and Tater on 8/6/2011, 1:49 am

Recently there was a post here about a damaged vinyl floor. I did a search for vinyl and couldn't find it. I mentioned that FR replaced our bathroom floor, and promised some photos showing the quarter round and trim on the edges. I don't know if you can order vinyl from FR or not - it wouldn't hurt to ask.

It was actually my squeaky floor. Thank you looks great. Being a little shorter up there I can see the floor plan is a little different. Looks like you got stairs next to your shower. Mine is on the other side. The vent is also. Medicine Cab space is a little wider. I bet getting that trim in there was fun. We have the same color of throw rugs. Your walls are the same color also.

Hey Tater do you have a door above the step I have a really big step up into the upstairs and would like to cut it out and add a step like yours do you also have a photo at a different angle of your steps?

Here is a picture of the steps. We have a sliding door. These steps aren't too high for my short legs. I believe I've seen a model that has just two steps - that would be difficult. The bottom step is a storage compartment - perfect for cans of pop or bottles of water. This isn't actually our trailer, but one just like it. Fabric and trim is different. Must have gotten this from the internet.

I know you can order matching carpet from FR, because I've done it for a re-design project on our stairs from main floor to bedroom. Based on that, I would assume you can order matching vinyl as well. However, the caveat to that is, you can't wait forever to order, because as soon as they run out of the excess, they move on to another color/style. We have the Bahama green color scheme in our Cat and when I bought the extra carpet, I was told that if I thought I'd need more, I should order then and there because they were running out of it. So I bought enough for screw-ups and floor mats.

I kind of thought you could get it (or a dealer could) as long as supplies last. I think they have changed the vinyl design since we bought ours.... and I don't think they changed to a design that would conceal a repair. I really like the brick design for that reason.
