Tater...
Just wanted you to know how much your Fort Wilderness info is appreciated. When we finally get to go, I'll feel like an expert before I ever step foot on the property!
I was talking to my brother who lives in Miami. It sounds like we might be able to pull the Cat down next summer, about this time, and spend a week with he and his wife at Disney World. He has an in-state, year-round pass. He was comparing the prices of a mid level hotel room on-site Vs a deluxe full hook-up site...$162.00 for the hotel and $61.00 for the site. That would allow us to pay for our daily passes with the money we'd save!

The Camp Grounds much better than any hotel room. Really Fun camp ground. Being able to see the fire works every night is cool also. And if you can get the local resident discount ,,,, its a steal of a deal. It'd be well worth the effort.

Re: Tater...
Gosh, maybe I should post a disclaimer in case this info isn't accurate.
Are your brother and his wife staying with you, or will they have their own RV? If they are staying with you, have them check now and then on the Annual Passport page to see if Disney is offering an AP discount. You might get lucky - AP discounts are about 40% less than rack rate. Hard to come by though for Fort Wilderness, but it doesn't cost anything to check.
Happy planning - half the fun is in the planning - until you get there, then ALL the fun is being there!

Visiting Disney in an RV is the best way. When we had our annual passes we would still go to Ft Wilderness and stay. It is relaxing.
