Good results with Coleman Camp skillet
We have had real good luck with this camp skillet from Coleman. I prefer to bacon/sausage *outside* the trailer for obvious reasons so we bring a camp table to house the outdoor cooking station. Now mind you I had to take the smallest Dremmel drill bit and open up the vent tube to increase the flow of gas but once I did that this skillet heats and cools as needed.

Now for waffles, we use nothing but the Foreman G5. Of all the waffles I've ever made, it makes the best. All our other waffle irons are slated for a garage sale. Between these two "critters" we can turn out a decent sized camp breakfast pretty fast.

My DW thinks I'm crazy, but I have used ours to cook breakfast outside on our patio at home. When camping it's all I use.

Re: Good results with Coleman Camp skillet
I use my Weber babyQ for all of my breakfast meats and an electric griddle for pancakes and french toast (why burn more gass than I have to). Nothing beats cooking breakfast outside!
I also piped in a shut-off and quick disconnect on the gas line and had a hose made so I can run the grill off the trailer tanks (no more buying little tanks of gas).

ffruff22,
If you have any pictures of that set up, could you post them? I am interested in doing something like that as well and use the little tanks as a back up plan.
Thanks,
-Mark

I got the hose adapter to use with our Coleman Roadtrip to eliminate the little bottles.
I just use it directly on one of the gas bottles on the WC.

Re: Good results with Coleman Camp skillet
huntr70,
That was my initial plan, but the more I thought about it, I would like to see if there is a "T" I could put on the line (from the tank on the awning side) with a shut off. Then when I wanted to use the propane, I could open the door, attach the hose and turn on the valve. This is plan B.
Sounds like ffruff22 has a similar set up.
Thanks for the input.

Just as another option...I carry a 5lb. refillable propane bottle with me. I use the adapter hose to connect it to the various propane things we use.
