12 volt gauge for my wicked kitty

Post by Portagie1968 on 6/29/2011, 7:03 am

I needed a 12 volt gauge to add to my solar renovation project. Needed to be digital and very easy to install or add. I found one I really like. When I get it I hope it lives up to the advertisement. Anybody else use this product.

This one can be another option but requires more work and much more expensive.

Well the volt meter worked great. Stayed mounted where it was suppose to be. Still will not hard wire in case I want to take it out in the future. The plug in the cigarette lighter never came out so why change it.

analog gauge

Post by Daveflyer on 9/25/2011, 9:26 am

Ford Harbor Freight market an analog gauge under the "Nitrous" label 2" dia. With LED backlight about $20.00 panel mount and would need to be hard wired put one in our "old" TT and kids used backlight as night light (user selectable colors by pushing button) only gripe is that wiring info. That comes with it is truly confusing 4 wires and not clearly defined!
