LA - near Shreveport - COE - Bodcau Bayou

Didn't have the trailer this trip, but wanted to look at this campground. It was north of I-20, definitely off the beaten path. A good place to get away from it all - and fish. I think that was about all there was to do. We drove through a picnic area and through one of the campgrounds. The picnic area was okay - not many tables, and they were spread out, which would make for some quiet picnics. The restrooms were clean. The campground was across the road from the picnic area. Not a lot of campsites, no water or sewer hookups that we know of, and neither of us remember seeing electric hookups, but since electricity is pretty easy to do, we'd say they probably had it. There was a large pavillon. There were two trailers there, and we know that one was the camp host. The road getting to the COE area was bumpy, and we probably won't be camping here. I took pictures, but haven't loaded them to the computer yet.

Here are some photos of Bodcau Bayou. First I have to make a correction. After looking at the photo of the campground, it looks to me like they do have water hookups - not just electric.
