problem with ceiling fan
Hello everyone! New to the forum and seems helpful so far! I have a 2008 Cat 31 loft 5th that has a ceiling fan that is giving me fits. Dealer says the switch is bad but can't seem to find a replacement one anywhere on line. Fan will not work at all and everything checks out except the switch. No brand on switch or fan but came new with trailer from dealer. The switch controls the on/off and speeds. It is a recessed button type - hard wired not remote. Does anyone know where to get a replacement switch??? Thanks from the Black Hills of South Dakota!!

Home Depot, get a variable (dial type) you control the speed as you turn the dial.

Forest River sells parts for your Wildcat. If this number doesn't work they can probably help. I purchased a set of entry steps from them and I thought the price was reasonable. Forest River's parts Department at 574-534-3167 Good Luck! Duke

Re: problem with ceiling fan
We had trouble with our fan switch as well. After talking to Forest River, they sent me a new one for only the price of shipping...

Re: problem with ceiling fan
Sorry Wildcatloft, when you said it was hard wired I thought it was 120v. You could go to a local electronics or HVAC supply store and get one from them, they have low voltage rio's there.

Re: problem with ceiling fan
Update - got the new switch from Forest River ($44) and installed. Ceiling fan now works great!!! Only bummer is that Forest River charged me $19.80 to ship a one pound box two zones by ground UPS. Watch out if you order parts from them!!

They should have used the USPS. Would have been less expensive. Course - it wasn't coming out of their pockets.
