SLIDE COMING APART !!!
First topic message reminder :

Well when I set up friday my one slide started going out funny, so I pulled it back in and start sliding it out again and it was fine. Had a great weekend loaded up and went to put the cat back in the storage place when I noticed that one side stuck out further then the other. This is what I saw. Nothing on my end jammed and there was nothing between the slide that would get stuck.... Has anyone seen this before?

Re: SLIDE COMING APART !!!
Well here's on for quality control. I told everyone about the slide not coming in on the 4th of july weekend. During my conversation with forestriver, I was told and once again quote " the motors in your slide are the old style and we will have to get with lippert to change them out" (Old style? mine is an 2011). After returning I made 4 phone call and left 4 message for the person who handled my problem. No one called me back. This past friday I found his email address and emailed him and called twice. Finally he called me back and told me he made a mistake that I do have the old motors but he could not replace unless it is a constant problem because they would have to replace all the tracks plus the motor. QC at its best..

Re: SLIDE COMING APART !!!
Hmmmmm - Forest River isn't standing behind their product?
Even if Lippert made it, didn't FR install it? Hook up the wiring, hydraulics?
Seems to me FR has SOME responsibility here, if only to convince Lippert on your behalf that this has to be fixed/replaced. It shouldn't matter if it is a constant problem or not. Just fix it!!
