Durango RV Resorts, Red Bluff Ca.

Post by Maxtor on 6/10/2011, 12:31 pm

I arrived here today, and plan on being here until Monday. What a beautiful resort. Clean spacious sites, plus river frontage. Anyone traveling north or south on I-5 through Red Bluff, should plan on spending a few days here. I am getting set up now, but will give more information soon. This resort is a 10. Pictures to follow...

Yes,,, I topped off the fuel tank, and made it here.

All the staff here are very friendly. I took pictures, but I need to resize them. All are 3 mb or more.
Durango Park is pet friendly and has a automatic dog washing area. Two very nice and clean dog run areas. Putting area, basketball, volley ball, very user friendly. Tomorrow I will post more information.

I will need to use my video tools at home to reduce the size of the photos.

Other amenities are:

They offer Floral Arranging, Cooking Demos, Local Historian Presentations, Bocce Ball, Wine Tastings, Olive Oil Tasting, and Museum Tours. The host weekly and monthly activites, like Potlucks, Movie Night, Good Morning Yoga, WII Challenge, and Pancake Breakfasts.

Durango RV Resort is a great place to enjoy the normally great weather, river, national parks, and clean Northern California air and have a great time.

With all those activities do they have a lot of permanent or semi-permanent residents?

Yes, they do allow long term guests. Every site is emaculate, even the long term guest areas.
I just came back from Sberi's restaurant, where they serve the most tasty food. My favorite is Steak, Shrimp, Stuffed Hashbrowns, and honey corn bread. They even provide take outs, so you can eat in your camper. Yummy... I need to do this more often. cheers

Stuffed hashbrowns? What do they stuff them with - and how?

Tater - (always interested in different ways to prepare potatoes)
