It's a tin can for keeping your crackers in.

I love those shelves. That cracker tin - we have one just like it in our pantry and we use it regularly. Didn't think it was old enough to be a collectible - I guess it is, though.

We have one for Premium and also one for Ritz. My son told me the other day that he wants us to will the cracker tins to him.
I don't think you can still purchase them, but I haven't really looked around.

Well, the green things are cylinders that pull out. My guess was the worlds first Cappuccino or Espresso maker! It definitely cooks something. This was in a "General Store" in the Heritage Village in Woodville, TX. That also explains the cracker tin and the other old-timey stuff.

We have two cracker tins - might be Ritz. They are red, and in a box in the attic, I think. The red cracker tins are about 1/2 inch shorter than the Nabisco Premiums tin. We also have 3 tins from Nestle's chocolate chips, and 2 tins from Animal Crackers. We had to buy 3 tins of chocolate chips to get a Disneyland Castle cookie jar. We have an old tin (at least 25 years old) that had fruit cake from Collin Street Bakery in Corsicana, TX. I'm sure if we still had the fruit cake it would still be as good as it was when just baked.

I thought maybe it was the first Suburban water heater for RV's. The green things are the bypass valves.

I would say that it was used to store your baking items, ie: flour / wheat, sugar, etc..... But then again, maybe it was the first dish washer?????
