What is it?

Post by BobnPi on 5/30/2011, 8:15 am

Since this is a mostly older crowd I expect this first installment will be quickly answered. I have one that I will post later that will probably stump everyone. I have no idea what it is and hope someone can say with certainty what it is used for. But that's coming later.

So, What is it?

My grandfather had one of those hanging in the barn many years ago. If my memory is correct I think it's a soldering iron, but my memory usually isn't correct here lately.

Yep, soldering iron. Scruffy probably has one around here somewhere.

So - what's next?

Scruffy just put away a bunch of old tools & stuff. He'd probably make quite a fuss if I asked him to dig something out of "the big red box" in the back of our storage area. Laughing I better not do that to him.
