Relocated three gang switch

Post by Rusty on 5/28/2011, 6:19 am

sunny
I moved the three gang switch that was in the cabinet just inside the front door, I felt it was a hassel to open the door, turn on lights, close door. What I did was to relocate it just a couple inches below the cabinet, I had to remove the cabinet and add around 10" of wire to all six of the leads going to the switch I had to cut a new hole for the switch, I had some plywood paneling left over from another job that I will use to cover old switch cut out.
Now when DW enters the trailer she can find the switches to turn on ceiling lights, porch light or scare lights, I also like the improvement headbanger

Good job.

Ours are located on the underside of the rear cabinets. They're okay there, but it would be nice to have them on the wall by the door.

The switch looks great where it's located now. I like the key hooks.

Mine is on the outside of the cabinet next to the door. I wonder were I can get a cabinet like that. That is cool.
