Day/Night Window Shade Repair
Hi All,
Just curious if anyone has replaced the string on any of their Day/Night Shades. The smaller window to the rear of our Big Slideout has some issues with the shade string. The string is fraying and bunching up towards the top on one side of the shade which is not allowing me to raise the shade more than 2/3's of the way. I do see online that they have string replacements and i am just curious if anyone had any tips on this?? Thanks a ton. Mark

Re: Day/Night Window Shade Repair
Well, my Wife and i attempted replacing the string on one of our Day/Night shades and even to our amazement it worked just fine. I ordered the string through "The Dirty Blind Man" which i found online. Took us probably a good hour and a half or so BUT the end result is a nice working shade again. Biggest thing to remember for us was patience and look at everything before tearing it apart. Believe me, if we can change the string on these then any of you can. LMAO Mark
