Fan-Tastic Fan
I started installing the new fan today, but belive it or not, it got to hot on the roof, a nice change from the weather we have been having, I just have to put in a couple more screws and seal it and put the rain guard vent cover back on and Ill be done on the roof, then hook it up and cut the trim, I think I have at least one more mod todo, I want to do the battery opperated stove igniter and maybe a hat hook inside and move the inside light switch, put on the screen door bar and then maybe just maybe Ill be finished till you guys come up with something else to do
is my job ever done

Re: Fan-Tastic Fan
Good fans. We have 3 of them. One in the WC 28RK, bathroom, and two in our other 5th wheel. It has a thermometer controlled one in the bedroom and a new one in the bathroom, the other fan was terrible. We replaced it because it was really noisy, didn't move much air, and at the slightest touch the screen would fall into the blades making it really scream! If we were going to continue pulling the WC I'd really think hard about putting a thermometer type into the vent in the kitchen, it can get hot when cooking and that'd help pull air out or push cool air in depending.
As an aside, the one in the bedroom stopped working last year. I fiddled around with it, no wiring diagrams, and finally emailed the factory. They popped right back asking for more info about the fan. They were going to send me a new one! I finally figured out the microswitch on the cover was stuck. Manually tripped it and it's worked since, kept the email in case I needed to contact them again. Good service on their part.

The bar on the screen door is a great idea. We have one but there is always one but. Can not lean on the screen door at all. If we put any weight on the bar it bends the screen door and it can not be open or closed until a little TLC is applied.

I didnt take any pictures of the install, I didnt see the need on that one, its pretty simple, remove screws, unhook wire, remove vent, put on new sealant, screw back on, put on self leveling sealant, hook up wires, install trim and youre done,
