Problem with Bed Pistons
Did a little fix on the bed platform up front which included detaching the uppper end of the pistons which help lift the bed when accessing the storage beneath the bed. Now, when I reattach them they will neither compress or extend. I don't see a way to deal with this; does anyone have a solution?
Thanks up front for the help.

Re: Problem with Bed Pistons
More than likely they are extended all the way out. They are very hard to retract by hand!
When I re-attached mine, I carefully wrapped a ratchet tie down strap lengthwise to retract the piston to the length I needed. I had to really crank down on the strap to get it to start retracting. Once I had it retracted to length, I propped the bed in the upright position and installed all four screws into bed frame before I removed the ratchet strap.
It would have been much easier with a second pair of hands or a ball joint for an elbow.

Your welcome and hope it works for ya!
It was a pain trying to get the strap not to slide off the ends when ratcheting but it worked.
