Lippert pinbox

Post by btaylor0 on 5/4/2011, 5:58 am

I'm looking to replace my Lippert 1621 pinbox with a Demco glide ride. There seems to be some confusion by the on line stores on the model of my box even though it clearly says it's a 1621. Has anyone else run into this problem when trying to replace their pinbox?

Tweety's has always had the best deal on pin box. They shouldn't have any problem with that. I don't think they even ask about your fiver.

Don't they make a couple different 1621 pin boxes? A long and a short? I can't remember anymore.

I think it would be extended or long for all Wildcat's

Just select Lippert 1621 and send away. We have bought two here and last month it took two days to get to my front door.

I went to Tweety's. My original was a "no name". Followed Tweety's guide and attempted contact with West Coast Cat Factory. NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER! Measured my bolt location, located exact fit on MOR/ryde pin box identification guide. Mine lined up with the Lippert 1621, so I ordered the MOR/ryde RPB72-1621HD. Ordered with some concern, got free shipping? Got it, installed it, perfect fit, great improvement. I would assume that other manufacturers have similar guides as MOR/ryde. Good luck. Cool

Didn't have any issues when I ordered our Demco a few years back. Demco has a measurement chart on their web-site.

Thank you everyone for the response. On Friday I ordered the Demco to replace the 1621 Lippert and I got it Monday. it will be a couple of weeks before I swap it out so I won't know until then if all is well. Thanks again for your help.
